appeared as Stan Licata in RISKY BUSINESS opposite Tom Cruise and as Ralph Andropwicz in the Sidney Lumet film POWER, opposite Richard Gere. Television roles have included series regular Ralph Friedman on the CBS series WIOU, guest starring roles on HIGH INCIDENT, CHINA BEACH, WISEGUY, THE ADVENTURES OF BRISCO COUNTY JR., BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER and a recurring role on the daytime drama SEARCH FOR TOMORROW. He recently co-starred in the NBC movie about Roseanne, A HOLLYWOOD MARRIAGE. Scott starred Off-Broadway in the revival of ON THE TWENTIETH CENTURY and appeared in the National Companies of DO BLACK PATENT LEATHER SHOES REALLY REFLECT UP? and THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW. In regional theatres, Scott has starred as Sancho in MAN OF LA MANCHA and with Carol Burnett in the world premiere of the new musical, FROM THE TOP, as well as in productions of A CONFEDERACY OF DUNCES, 80 DAYS, RADIO GALS and OLIVER, among others. |
As an arranger and musical director, Scott received a Joseph Jefferson award and four L.A. Drama Critics awards for his work as co-creator and musical director/arranger of the Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle companies of BERLIN TO BROADWAY WITH KURT WEILL. Scott has arranged over 50 acts and has worked with such artists as Mariette Hartley, Alan Rachins, Alyson Reed, Phyllis Newman, Faith Prince, and Wendy O. Williams. A popular studio musician, Scott can be heard on a number of popular albums and television commercial jingles, and as a voice over artist in several animated films, including A GOOFY MOVIE and POCOHANTAS 2: THE JOURNEY HOME. A graduate of Northwestern University, Scott lives in Los Angeles with his wife, actress Winifred Freedman.
